Terms of Use

The plain terms for using Mooncart: what’s yours, how Pro works, and how shared links are handled.

About these terms

These terms cover your use of the Mooncart app and the mooncart.app website, provided by Henrik Svendsen, Norway. The app is licensed to you under Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (EULA). These terms add the details specific to Mooncart, and where they overlap with Apple’s EULA, Apple’s EULA governs the licence itself.

Using Mooncart

Mooncart is for personal, non-commercial use. The recipes, lists and photos you create are yours. Please use the app lawfully and don’t attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer or overload the app or its link service.

Mooncart Pro

Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. The price is shown in the app before you buy, and payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation. Refunds are handled by Apple. Pro can be shared through Apple Family Sharing.

If Pro ends, nothing you made is deleted. Your recipes, lists and settings are kept, only the Pro features stop working, and subscribing again brings them back.

Your content and shared links

You keep ownership of your recipes, lists and photos. When you create a shareable link, you confirm that you have the right to share the content, including any photo, and that it doesn’t infringe anyone else’s rights. You give us permission to store it and show it to anyone with the link for up to 180 days so that the link works.

Links are meant for occasional, personal sharing. Automated or bulk use is not allowed, and we limit how many links can be created per hour. See the Privacy Policy for how shared links are stored.

Reporting content

If you believe a shared recipe, photo or link infringes your rights or is unlawful, email support@mooncart.app with the link and a short explanation of the problem, including who you are and what rights you hold. We review reports promptly and remove content found to be unlawful or infringing.

Nutrition information

Nutrition figures are estimates, calculated from public food-composition databases and the ingredients as written. Actual values vary by brand, preparation and portion size. They are provided for general information only and are not medical, dietary or nutritional advice. If you have a medical condition, an allergy or specific dietary needs, consult a qualified professional, and always check ingredient labels yourself. Do not rely on Mooncart for allergen information.

Third-party content

Recipes you import remain the property of their authors and websites, and you are responsible for respecting the terms of the sites you import from. Mooncart is not affiliated with those websites or with the food-composition databases it draws on.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Mooncart reliable, but it is provided “as is”. Features may change or be removed, and we will aim to give notice of significant changes. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data if you have not kept a backup. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Norwegian law, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in the country where you live.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest revision, and we will mention material changes in the app’s release notes.
